According to the initial alert, the child had been abducted from the 7700-block of 146A Street in Surrey at around 1:00 pm on Saturday. The child, a Caucasian female, was described as having short, light brown hair and blue eyes. The Amber Alert was activated around 10:00 pm that same day. Police stated that they were speaking with a man who was in possession of a vehicle believed to be related to the abduction. The man was arrested as part of the investigation.
